Since 2013, Uniqlo Has Successfully Engaged Young Graduates on Facebook
Uniqlo, the Japanese casual wear designer, manufacturer, and retailer has been using Work4’s social solutions to help solve its recruiting needs throughout Europe. Uniqlo’s challenge was to build an employer brand as an organization of choice among more recent graduates, so they opted to recruit where these users spend nearly 2 hours out of every day, Facebook.
Work4’s social recruiting solutions have played a key role in Uniqlo’s strategy in the European market for the past 3 years by recruiting sales advisors and young professionals for their Graduate Programs, promoting recruiting events, and creating a solid talent pool, all the while enhancing their employer brand.
Uniqlo’s Social Recruiting Strategy
Uniqlo’s recruiters use both our application and our social job postings to maximize their talent acquisition efforts:
Facebook Career Application
In 2015, Uniqlo’s Career Page promoted 77 jobs, attracted 2,415 individual inquiries, and generated 1,864 applications. On a daily basis, the Social Job Sharing feature enables Uniqlo to leverage its employees’ networks on Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter helping to create a significant portion of the page’s traffic.
Social Job Postings
Uniqlo uses Social Job Posting to promote various campaigns throughout the year. Ads are broadcasted through social media to recruit recent graduates and sales advisors, acquire fans for their career page, and increase visibility for their recruiting events which consistently helps their employer brand message.
Since 2014, Social Job Posting has resulted in more than 1,021 million unique impressions and has redirected 26,326 apply clicks to specific requisitions helping Uniqlo’s talent acquisition teams to meet their hiring initiatives.
