Minor Facebook Pages Update

With the new Facebook brand Pages your business doesn’t have to devote resources to building a website from the ground up. However, it is important to maintain the look and content of your page. You may not have a miscoded website with mismatched text or incorrect layering, but your Facebook Page can have incorrectly sized pictures or unappealing content.

While there aren’t many major changes like the upgrade to Timeline, there is a steady stream of tweaks and alterations to formatting on Pages. Facebook makes sure you are prepared for these changes with their “Weekly Facebook Page Update.” Make it a part of your weekly routine to read these emails and implement any of the changes mentioned.

Last week’s Page Update contained a prime example of a minor change that could affect your page. Facebook has decided to resize profile pictures on pages from 125×125 pixels to 160×160 pixels. That is about as minor as changes get, but still you should make the adjustment to keep your Page looking professional. Take a look at the image below to see how this will change the look of your Page.
