Facebook announced a new look for Sidebar Ads. The changes will be rolling out in the next couple of months and the updated look will feature enlarged ads more visually consistent with Newsfeed advertisments. Early tests show these larger, more attractive ads have increased engagement by 3X – a huge implication for job ads.
Speaking of Facebook ads, the social network is making it even easier to attract qualified candidates by adding job-title targeting options. Combined with their push for users to add professional skills information to their profiles, this update further solidifies Facebook as a viable recruiting platform.
