Siemens Targets a Highly Qualified Talent Pool with Work4 Solutions

    Siemens, the largest engineering company in Europe, wanted to make the most of the digital economy by pioneering the use of social media for recruitment. Not only did they want to strengthen their employer brand, which they did by creating a separate corporate Career Facebook page, but they also wanted to reach their recruitment goals. Work4’s solutions met both objectives by enabling Siemens’s recruiters to create and nurture a community of very qualified candidates on the platform where they spend the most time, Facebook.

W4 App

In 2015, Siemens’s W4 App promoted 67 jobs, attracted 10k individuals, and generated 4,993 applications. On a daily basis, the W4 Ambassadors system enables Siemens to leverage its employees’ networks, creating one-third of the page’s traffic.

W4 Pipeline

Siemens uses W4 Pipeline to promote various campaigns each year. Ads are broadcasted on social media to recruit apprentices, raise disability awareness, and increase visibility for their events such as the Innovation Special Prize and their Top Employer nomination.
Since 2014, W4 Pipeline has generated more than 1,210 million unique impressions and redirected 7,758 clicks to job offers. Work4 helps Siemens to hire dozens of new colleagues each year and to consistently increase their employer branding and visibility.
