Red Lobster Decreases their Average Cost per Hire by Nearly 75% with Work4

In 2015, Red Lobster branched out of the Darden family of restaurants. To maintain their employer brand, visibility, and recruitment pace they began working with Work4. Their objective was to keep their cost per hire lower than $200 for hourly workers: servers and cooks were their main focus.

In order to achieve those objectives, they chose to launch the W4 App and our W4 Pipeline solution, which included fully automated campaigns and targeting generation. They used W4 Pipeline to promote 29 jobs at a cost of $5,000.


Within 8 months, Red Lobster recruited 90 workers for its restaurants nationwide. The W4 Pipeline campaign boosted their employer brand and visibility by generating 139,730 unique impressions and 1,469 clicks in just one month. More importantly, Work4’s solutions enabled Red Lobster to lower their cost per hire to $57 – four times less than their usual CPH.
